TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE TOURIST MARITIME TRANSPORT SERVICE PROVIDED BY XACOBEO TRANSFER

By purchasing a ticket with Xacobeo Transfer, the passenger agrees to the following general conditions of transport:

Reservations and Tickets

Reservations must be made through our official website: xacobeotransfer.com.

The ticket is valid only for the date and time specified in the reservation.

The ticket is personal and non-transferable.

It is recommended to arrive at the boarding point at least 15 minutes before departure time.

Changes and Cancellations

Online reservations are flexible and can be modified depending on the arrival time at the boarding point, within the timetable published on our booking page.

Schedules and Operations

Service schedules and availability may vary depending on weather conditions and tides. Please check the updated schedules on our website.

From March to October: departures from A Guarda begin at 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM (Spanish time), and from Caminha from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM (Portuguese time), with multiple departures every hour.

From November to February (inclusive), we operate only from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM (Portuguese time) xacobeotransfer.com.

For operational reasons, the service may be provided by another company or using different vessels.

Fares

The price per trip is €6 per person and €8 for passengers with bicycles.

We offer a 50% discount on same-day round-trip tickets.

Payment can be made by card through our website xacobeotransfer.com or in cash directly on board.

Luggage and Prohibited Items

Each passenger may carry one piece of hand luggage up to 30 kg.

For safety reasons, the following items are strictly prohibited:

  • Flammable gases (e.g., camping gas, oxygen, propane, butane)

  • Explosives, ammunition, fireworks, or flares

  • Flammable liquids (e.g., fuels, paints, solvents)

Liabilities

Xacobeo Transfer is not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings during the journey.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel published schedules due to weather conditions, force majeure, or operational reasons.

The passenger acknowledges the possibility of delays inherent to maritime transport and releases the company from any liability for missed connections with other means of transport.

Safety and Regulations

All our vessels have the necessary insurance and permits to operate.

We operate from port to port, ensuring safe boarding and disembarkation.
